Our ReBIRD™ Promise
At Arc teryx, we design and craft our products with a strong commitment to quality, durability, and performance. We believe that the best gear is that which stands the test of time, performs reliably in the most demanding conditions, and minimizes environmental impact through extended use.
Repair over replace
Our approach prioritizes repair over replacement whenever possible. This not only provides you with continued use of gear you’ve come to trust, but also supports our shared responsibility toward environmental stewardship by keeping products in use longer and reducing landfill waste.
Our ReBIRD™ Promise reflects our dual commitment to you and to the planet we will repair your Arc’teryx gear for as long as we determine that it remains repairable, regardless of the product’s age or how the damage occurred, subject to limited exceptions. This commitment supports our environmental values by extending product lifespan and reducing waste.
ReBIRD REPAIR™
Our repairs fall into two general categories, as detailed below. Our technical team will determine if your garment is repairable after a thorough assessment.
- Minor repairs: Repairs to small tears and burns and replacements for defective buckles, cord locks, and zipper pulls. These repairs can be conducted in-store or at home for free.
- Complex repairs: Repairs resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, or misuse. These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and include a free evaluation and quote, which you can approve before any fee-based repair work begins.
In some cases, we may not be able to repair your gear:
- Gear not purchased from authorized retailers, including counterfeit goods, is not eligible for our repair or warranty services.
- Specific gear limitations, such as base layers, socks, hydration reservoirs, safety equipment (including harnesses), avalanche packs, and accessories.
- Compromised gear, such as gear with removed or defaced holograms or product labels.
- Lost or stolen items.
You have several options to start a repair claim:
If you think there’s a manufacturing defect in your gear, please refer to our Limited Warranty policy here.
We offer our ReBIRD Promise as an additional commitment on top of any statutory consumer rights you may have depending on your location. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by our ReBIRD Promise.
Before submitting a product service request
With most Arc’teryx products, you can find the model name on the white care label inside of the product.
If you can’t find the model name, share the four to five-digit model number instead (also found on that white tag). If you can’t identify either, send us a photo of your item and we will identify it for you.
Important: CA#34438 is marked on all Arc’teryx products and is not a specific product identification number.
For service and repair, we ask that you ship your product to us and we will cover any shipping costs for returning the product to you.
Please select a delivery service that provides parcel tracking information, insurance, and proof of delivery. Arc’teryx is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during shipping and cannot replace parcels lost during return shipment if proof of delivery is unavailable.
Unauthorized modification or alteration including any repair done outside of Arc’teryx is not covered by the Limited Warranty.
